Affordable Wedding Venues in Georgia
There are two keys to having an affordable wedding in Georgia. The guest list and the wedding date.
That’s right. How many people are you inviting to your wedding? And when is it going to be? They seem like such innocent questions. But these two questions can mean thousands of dollars to your wedding budget.
Now, our wedding venue is a set price based on the date you reserve it, no matter how many guests. BUT!!! You can still have a gorgeous affordable wedding at Spring Lake. Here’s how.
First, you want to choose your wedding date. If you check out our wedding venue pricing page, you will notice that a Sunday in November is almost half as much as a Saturday in May. Do you want to save a huge chunk of your wedding budget right off the bat? Then a Sunday in July or November is your sweet spot.
Next, if you’re wanting to save even more, you will notice that our wedding packages are based on 150 guests. The Lakeside package is currently our most affordable option (but that particular caterer’s BBQ is super yum). So, if you choose that option and have 75 guests instead of 150, you’ve saved a ton of money there.
And by the time you get to this point, a 200 person wedding on a Saturday in May serving chicken in the Red Canoe package (still an amazing caterer and a steal of a meal) will currently cost around $9500+ while a 75 person wedding on a Sunday in November serving BBQ from the Lakeside package will be around $4600 if you DIY your own flowers. (All of these prices are subject to change, but generalized to give you an idea.)
So, by carefully selecting your wedding date, inviting only your dearest friends and family, and having a small bridal party (so you can DIY your own flowers), you can just about save 50% off the most expensive items in your wedding budget.
Does that sound like a steal of a deal or what? We told you that you could have an inexpensive wedding and it still be amazing.
