There are so many different wedding trends to think about and it can be overwhelming to consider this during the wedding planning process. If you’re not sure which trends are right for you and your big day, then you’ve come to the right place. In this blog, we’re going to go over some of our favorite wedding trends at the moment. Don’t be afraid to take the following trends and make them your own – have fun with it!
Pearl Jewelry
The jewelry that you wear on your wedding day can have a massive impact on your overall look, so it’s important that you select it carefully. One of our favorite trends currently is pearl jewelry. Pearl jewelry gives a look for an elegant and classic touch, but it’s still not something that you see in every wedding. Even if you don’t want to wear pearls, consider thinking about having your bridal party wear them.
Multiple Days
Have you thought about having your wedding ceremony on a Friday and then having your reception/party on a Saturday? Doing this has a variety of different benefits. Not only do you get more ways to celebrate, but it can also be less overwhelming. While this is a great option, it could also potentially be more expensive. However, if you have the budget to do this, give yourself more time to celebrate and spread it out over a couple of days!
Non-Traditional Dessert
Everyone’s heard of wedding cake and it can be a great option for some weddings. However, why not try something new and unique? Trying something like cupcakes for your dessert option can be a great way to wow your guests, potentially save some money, and make sure that everyone has a dessert they enjoy.
Drones
Using drones as part of your videography is a great way to get some unique shots and see your wedding from another angle. There are many different videographers today who use drones, so consider looking for one of those professionals for your wedding day. We promise that you won’t regret getting some drone shots! (Especially if you have a gorgeous venue like Spring Lake Events!)
Unique Guest Books
It’s 2024 and there are so many different options for guest books. Some people choose to do a vintage phone recording option for the guest books, while others will have some sort of a video booth. Regardless of what you choose, make sure that it aligns well with your other wedding decision and makes sense for who you are as a couple.
Guest Dress Codes
While having a dress code for your guests may not necessarily be a new idea or a trend, it is a great idea. Having guests in a dress code is a great way to make sure that everything is uniform and fits together well. We love looking at pictures of weddings where the guests were all following a dress code – when everything is cohesive it’s so much better!
