Here are some of the top wedding details that are often forgotten in the planning process.

If you’re having a traditional wedding, then you may be feeling a little bit overwhelmed by all of the different details that need to be coordinated. It’s completely normal for some details to fall to the wayside, so we put together this list to go over some of the top things you might be forgetting. While this certainly isn’t a comprehensive list, it’s one that you can use to get the ball rolling and make sure that you’re on the right track.

Important Wedding Details

It makes complete sense if you want to make sure that all your wedding details are taken care of well before your big day. Nobody wants to be rushing or scrambling on their wedding day, so take a look at the following details and make sure that they’re on your to-do list (or maybe they’re already taken care of!).

Vendor Tips

If you’re going to be tipping your vendors on your wedding day, then it’s important to make sure that you have the right amount of money set aside. Many people give cash tips to their vendors. If you’re going to go with this option, consider asking a member of your wedding party if they can take care of this detail.

We recommend separating the right amounts of cash into envelopes so that your friend can easily pass them out without any confusion or effort on your part.

Power

Many people forget to think about a venue’s electricity. If you have a vendor that needs power, make sure that you coordinate with both the venue and the vendor ahead of time.

Some vendors may have their own power source that they can bring, which can help cut down on details that you need to think about. HOwever, if this isn’t an option, then you’ll need to speak with your venue or purchase your own power source for the vendor to use.

Your Venue Contract

It’s important to look over the contract you have with your venue before your big day. All reputable venues will have you sign a contract and it will most likely include details about your responsibilities and duties in regards to the venue.

If there’s a specific time you need to be cleaned up by or certain decorations that you can’t have at the venue, make sure that you’re aware of that before your big day so that there aren’t any surprises on your big day.
