Sandy Patterson, Tallapoosa GA whose wedding was October 27, 2012... We chose Spring Lake for our daughter's wedding and everything was absolutely beautiful. She chose a vintage/shabby chic theme and Spring Lake was perfect. After seeing her wedding pictures, I honestly do not think we could have chosen a more beautiful venue. Spring Lake is such a pretty place and the beautiful fall colors in the background made it even prettier. I loved the comfortable and very private atmosphere. Renty was absolutely wonderful and when we left the night of the wedding, Greg and I both felt like we were leaving a dear friend. If you are looking for a vintage/rustic venue, you really need to look into Spring Lake. I promise you will not be disappointed.

The History Of Wedding Cakes

A wedding cake is a tradition at wedding receptions. In some parts of England, the wedding cake is served at a wedding breakfast following the morning ceremony. In modern Western culture, the cake is usually on display and served to guests at the reception. Traditionally, wedding cakes were made to bring good luck to all guests and the couple. Modernly however, they are more of a centerpiece to the wedding and are not always even served to the guests. Some cakes are built with only a single edible tier for the bride and groom to share. Wedding cakes can certainly range in size, from a small cake that feeds ten people, to a very large cake that will feed hundreds, all depending on the wedding. Modern pastry chefs and cake designers use various ingredients and tools to create a cake that will reflect the personalities of the couple. Marzipan, fondant, [...]

Another Great Testimonial

This place is AMAZING!!!!! My daughter found it sort of by accident. We had four appts that day to look at Venue's. We had looked at it on line first and loved it!! We made this appt first in the day because she knew if it looked like the picture we would not need to go to the other appts. It was JUST like the pictures and MORE!!! Renty and Mike are the easiest to work with. Very friendly and accomadating. Renty also did the flowers and they were beautiful. I had lots of questions and they were very prompt in returning emails or phone calls. It is a drive from our daughters house but well worth it!!!! The day was Perfect!! Although it did not rain it was comforting to know that the Pavilion is beautiful and perfect would have been a very easy transition. The upkeep on the [...]

Things To Do Before Saying I DO

By | 2017-10-09T15:04:06+00:00 August 15th, 2012|Uncategorized|

So he popped the question. You are engaged. Congratulations! Before your wedding you have to make a million decisions but where do you start? How do you get inspired to chose a dress, venue, date, flowers, theme, colors, bridesmaids and their dresses, jewelry, music, food, how are you going to wear your hair, and the perfect invitations. The list goes on and on. How are you going to stay organized? It is a wonder any of us has made it down the aisle. Whether you have a lavish Kardashian styled wedding or you plan simple nuptials with only family and a few friends, it is still going to be difficult to get everything done. Depending on the size and budget of your wedding, you can hire a professional wedding coordinator, select a friend to help with the details or try to do it all on your own. Either way you [...]

Vibrant Fall Colors Sets Wedding’s Theme

By | 2012-09-24T20:25:14+00:00 July 31st, 2012|Uncategorized|

The Fall is just around the corner. If you are a bride with an October wedding date, this is an the time of the year to have an traditional wedding with more rustic touches. You have far more colors to chose from. Be inspired by orange, burnt yellow, deep reds, purple, browns and pine green. These colors are great when they are paired together. It is a wonder time to use jewel tone colors and create a mystical wedding that is warm and full of character. The brides dress can still be white and strapless but if you add a lace jacket, similar to the one Kate Middleton wore, will give the dress two looks. One very formal for the nuptials and take the jacket off, you now can dance into the wee hours. The jacket will add a very classic look and also keep the bride warm on a [...]

The Prefect Wedding Gift

Getting married is such an exciting time for a couple. Not only are you making a commitment to the person you love but you also get a big party to celebrate the day. You get a cake, a dance, all your friends and family with you. Then there are the presents- a ton of them. Im having a hard time deciding whats the best part! I have always bought personal gifts for the couple based off our friendship. When my friends Jeff and Teresa got married, my boyfriend and I bought them a Coo Coo Clock. Not a normal present for most but my boyfriend, the bride and groom and I had all gone to Germany together a year earlier. That is where they got engaged. To them, the Coo Coo Clock was the perfect gift.  They knew we had really thought about them and picked out something that will always make them think of us and [...]
