You’ve decided to have a rustic, but romantic vintage wedding. These days, there are so many options about what that could look like. It could be full of mason jars and burlap & lace. Or it could be piled high with old books and mismatched china.

We just hosted a wedding here at Spring Lake with gorgeous vintage style. We provided the touch of rustic and the blank canvas, and this awesome couple brought in the romance and the vintage style. We love it. We wanted to share a peek of it with you.

First…do you see this gorgeous seafoam green color? It’s a dream here at Spring Lake if for no other reason than it matches our landscape perfectly. But we think it’s also the perfect touch of romantic with a whisper of vintage. And these plates! They are so adorable! You can get this custom look by hiring the perfect caterer, asking around to friends and family or by hitting up the thrift stores regularly looking for sweet little treasures like these. No matter how these little beauties get here, they’re sure to make you feel sweet and special.

Check out this favor station. Simple and adorable. We love the teal color used throughout this wedding and the nod back to vintage with the vintage suitcases and the stacks of books on the bottom shelf. As if that wasn’t adorable enough, do you see that tiny little crate on the top shelf? It’s so cute and so little and so rustic and so vintage. Oh, and the tags on these little favors were so so adorable. What an easy way to add a custom touch to your wedding. If you aren’t all that saavy with photoshop or picmonkey, etsy is a goldmine full of amazing designers at affordable prices.

And last, let’s just drool over this tablescape for a minute. . . . .

How perfect is this?! We love how the gilding on the book matches the gold chargers, and the napkins match the book bindings, and the splash of pink with the flowers. And let’s not forget the wood slice and the lantern. And the chalkboard number and burlap runner for a touch of rustic weddings. Glamorous and sophisticated yet rustic and casual. Can we say, “vintage weddings perfection?” Really make this a custom table with sentimental flowers (did he give you a bright pink rose on your first date?), and stacks of some of your favorite books.

We hope these tips gave you some fun ideas of how to personalize your vintage wedding (or romantic and rustic wedding).
