Photos can be a really important part of a couple’s wedding day. They’re an excellent way to be able to remember the big day and have something to hold onto. At Spring Lake Events, we have a variety of photo opportunities that our couples can choose from. We understand that every couple has their own interests and likes, so our venue is the perfect option if you’re wanting multiple different options.
Spring Lake Events
One of the reasons why so many couples choose our venue is because of the many different photo opportunities we have. Let’s go over some of the different options and help you decide if any of them could be the right pick for you.
The Boat House
The boat house is romantic and intimate. Positioned above the water, this is a great option for both indoor and outdoor photos. This photo option is also close to where many of our couples choose to have their ceremony.
Reception Barn
While our barn is primarily meant for receptions, it’s also a great choice for photos. You can take photos in the barn before your reception is set up or you can have your photographer join you during your reception. We have lots of different lighting options available, so we can make sure that you get the quality photos you’re looking for.
The Lake
The lake is one of our most popular photo opportunities. Our canoe is the perfect choice for couples that are wanting romantic and unique photos. Even if you’re not wanting to go out on the water, having the lake as a photo backdrop is memorable. One of the great things about the lake is that it’s a beautiful photo opportunity throughout the day. If you’re wanting to take photos at sunset, then the lake could be the option you’re looking for.
Around the Venue
We’ve gone over some of our dedicated photo sites, but there are so many other great options all throughout the venue. This is a great opportunity for couples that are wanting some variety in their photos.
Wedding Photo Considerations
If you’re planning out your wedding photos, there are some considerations to keep in mind.
It’s essential to think about the footwear that you’ll be wearing. Planning ahead is important, especially if you’re going to be taking photos out in nature.
Another thing to consider is when during the day you’ll be taking photos. This is important not only because your photographer will need to plan ahead, but because you’ll need to carve out time during your wedding day. When you’re making your wedding day timeline, consider adding in some extra time. Especially if you’re choosing our venue, you may find more photo opportunities than you originally planned for!
We hope that this guide has been helpful and given you a more comprehensive understanding of all of the beautiful photo opportunities our venue has to offer. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to reach out to our staff and get some more information.
