If you’re like most couples, you probably have a few different vendors for your wedding. While having multiple vendors is very common, that doesn’t mean that it’s easy. It can quickly become overwhelming to find all your vendors, enlist their help, and keep them organized. We’ve put together this guide that you can use if you’re feeling overwhelmed and want some help staying organized.

Wedding Email

One of the best things that you can do is to create an email that’s specifically used for your wedding. This is a great way to keep track of all the different emails you’re sending and make sure that everyone’s in the same place. If you have other people that are helping to coordinate your wedding, you can give them the password and they’ll automatically have access to all the planning you’ve been doing.

If you do have a wedding email, it’s important to make sure that you’re checking it regularly. It may be overwhelming to think about everything you need to do, but keeping updated on all your communications is one of the best ways to be sure that you’re staying organized with your vendors.

Google Sheets

Another helpful tool is Google Sheets. Consider keeping a list of all the vendors that you’ve booked, any details they need from you, and how much they’ll cost. This can not only help you when you’re evaluating your budget, but it’ll make sure that everything is in one place.

You can also use Google Sheets to keep track of all your vendor’s contact information. This may not be as much of a problem if you have a specific wedding email, but it’s still a great idea. Having a dedicated Google Sheet for contract information can be especially helpful because it’ll be easily shareable with anyone that’s involved in the planning process alongside you.

Wedding Day Payments

Some of your vendors will likely require payment on the day of the event. This can be very stressful, as dealing with money isn’t something that most couples want to do on their big day. As a solution to this, consider designating a member of your bridal party to be the person that can handle all of your payments.

If someone else is going to be paying your vendors, consider having marked envelopes with the checks (or cash) so that they don’t need to figure out any of the details. The designated individual then just needs to find each of the vendors and make sure that they’re paid properly. This is where the Google Sheet with payment information can come in handy!
